2005 Football

The Bulldogs finished the 2004 regular season with a 9-2 (6-2 SEC) record and placed 7th nationally. They beat the Wisconsin Badgers in the Outback Bowl on New Year's Day 24-21 to end the year with a 10-2 record. This marked the Bulldogs' 3rd straight season of 10 or more wins.

We've lost the likes of starters Odell Thurman, David Greene, David Pollack, and Fred Gibson; but the Bulldog Nation has faith in head coach Mark Richt to not only make us competitive, but to be the team to beat in the SEC. This will be the fifth year under coach Mark Richt who begins the season with a 42-10 overall record as the Top Dawg.
